Dear Behavioral Task Force -
Thanks to all who volunteered to help with the Behavioral Task Force
presentation at DAC. Mike McNamera was first to volunteer (sucker!) and I
have asked him to make a presentation on behalf of the BTF.
To all BTF members in attendance at DAC, it would be appreciated if you
would attend the DAC VSG session and lend your support and comments to Mac's
presentation.
Maq Mannan has forwarded a number of errata submissions from Paul Graham of
Compass Design Automation (copied to this e-mail). I have used Paul's list
as the official starting point for a BTF Errata List. Many BTF members have
similarly submitted errata comments which I have not yet incorporated into
the Errata List, but it is my intention to do so in the future.
On behalf of the BTF, we would like to thank Paul Graham for his errata
submissions. Paul is approaching the Verilog LRM with a "new set of eyes"
which will prove to be very useful in discovering those errors that most
Verilog veterans have unknowingly passed over.
This morning I will also be sending out updated BTF Enhancement and Errata
Lists, copies of the new `ifndef and structures proposals, a copy of the
updated signed arithmetic comments, plus Paul Grahams 12 errata submissions.
