Behavioral Task Force - Errata Submission
Assigned Enhancement Request Number: BE52
Errata Name (Description): Register initialization value
Section: 3.2.2, page 14
Date Submitted: 12/8/96
Requestor: Stu Sutherland
Status: Submitted (priority not yet assigned)
Errors found in the Verilog LRM (IEEE 1364-1995).
Details:
The last sentance of the first paragraph states that the
initialization value for a reg is an x. While this is correct, it does not
define the initialization value for the register data types. Suggest the
sentance state: "The default initialization value for reg, time and integer
register types shall be the unkown value, x. The default initialization value
for real and realtime register types shall be 0.0."
