What is the status of the 'uselib directive thats now in Cadence's
verilog-XL.

>From what I can gather it is not part of the official standard but
may actually be a de facto standard.

Anyone know of any major gotchas to watch out for - i.e tools that
don't support it. E.g. does vcs support it?

I'm trying to work out how to fit a data management system that seems
to have been designed with an implicit assumption of a VHDL like
logical library being mapped to physical directory via a control
file. The current suggestion is writing scripts that construct a
huge "run.f" file - however I'm sure there must be a better way.

`uselib seems to fit the bill ... but the re-usability police won't
like it if its not portable!
