In a conversation with Steve Meyer about the `if functionality, he
implied that the generate enhancement has similar functionality.
Considering this I asked this question?
Does the generate_conditional statement have equivalent
or greater functionality than `if?
I say the answer is no.
1. You can't specify a value of a genvar variable on the command line
(or in configurations) to select/not select code. [You could put
a `define in the genvar_conditional expression space though...]
2. You can't use a generate_conditional statement within initial/always/
function/task blocks.
