Hi All,
Please find the pdf file attached. This new proposal does not contain
"views". It also does not define the command-line options that we discussed
on the last conference call. It does, however, define that there must be a
command-line way of specifying both the library mapping file(s) and a
command-line way of overriding the default library searching order. This
seemed to me the best compromise in light of Maq's issue about
standardizing command-line options as part of the language.
If anyone feels strongly about this, we can put it back in, but I think the
current proposal is sufficient.
Thanks,
-Tom

Subject: Enhancement Request: Increment, Decrement (++, --) operators

Hi,
Can we also add the C-like operators "++" and "--" ?
ie. "i=i+1" could be (in the spirit of both Verilog and C)
abbreviated to "i++".
I can't immediately see a use for "++i" type operations
(potentially confusing) but "i++" makes sense.
I see it being used mostly on integers, primarily as a
loop counter.
Any takers?
Cheers,
Jamie
