You are at least 4 months behind :) I proposed this enhancement -
but it was rejected since it is not required for any case we considered.
We have proposed an addition to the text concerning the width
of number literals. The addition specifies the resulting value
of an unsized literal for all value cases (X and Z included.)
The result is that one need not specify the width of a literal.
You get the effect you want with this statement.
assign out = en? in: 'hz; //literal sized to width of lhs.
