Here's my initial comments on draft 3.
1. My proposal BE18 has not been embodied in the current proposal/text.
It does not implement my requested (existing in XL) feature
of upward searching for task/function names that don't exist
in the local module.[12.5.1]
2. The text of $random isn't really clear about how the parameter
passed to $random affects functionality. E.g.
$random(seed1)
$random(seed2)
$random
All generate different random streams.
<p>3. Standard algorithm we received from Cadence have not received
approval from cadence and are not in the spec.
4. The $value$plusargs writeup is missing from the spec.
5. Missing `ifndef from table on page 313.
6. 19.7 "The compiler is expected to maintain [the] current line number
and filename. [page 319]
7. Missing ANSI declarations functionality.
8. BNF system_timing_check statements are out of date wrt specparam
section.
