Chris -

A problem and proposal have surfaced in BTF discussions, and we were hoping
you would comment on the proposed solution. Does it seem reasonable?

Thanks in advance.

Regards - Cliff

On page 299, in section 17.2.4.4, there is an inconsistency. In the second
paragraph, it says that loading starts from the LSB if there is no start
argument. In the fifth paragraph, it says that loading starts at the
lowest numbered location. The lowest numbered location does not have to be
the LSB.

Change wording in 2nd para to "Start is an optional argument. If present,
start will be used as the starting location in the memory. If not present
the lowest numbered location in the memory shall be used."
Change wording in 5th para to "If no addressing information is specified
within the system task, and no address specifications appear within the
data file, then the default start address is the lowest address given in
the declaration of the memory. Consecutive words are loaded until either
the memory is full or the data file is completely read. If the start
address is specified in the task without the finish address, then loading
starts at the specified start address and continues towards the highest
address given in the declaration of the memory."
