It is too late to make any changes to the standard without going thro
another ballot cycle.

What we should do is allow people to file IRs (Issue Reports). I brought
this issue up at the last DASC steering committee meeting. There is a way
to file IRs
against VHDL on the ISAC web site and I had requested that this be moved up
one level
so that the IR filing mechanism can be used by all standard groups. I
believe Alex Zamfirescu
volunteered to look into this possibility.

Either way, we should try to provide a mechanism on the 1364 web site where
people can file
issues against the language and a record of this kept.
