    1) The Chair read the IEEE patent policy presentation,and refers all
    to http://www.verilog.com/IEEEVerilog.html where a link to the IEEE
    policy is prominent.

    2) Shalom corrected that the minutes incorrectly reflected that
    Charles left the meeting, when he did not. Also he pointed out that
    issues were all listed as Approved as amended, where as none were
    actually amended. With these corrections, Steve Sharp moved, and the
    minutes as amended were approved unanimously.

    3) Report of the 2001c Project

    Remaining work is on the index; Shalom working alphabetically and is
    up to the letter 'S', specify blocks; expects a few days to finish,
    and then we can send it off to print.

    Separately, we are awaiting errata sheet back from Andy, which we will
    need to review. This will be attached to the 2001c printing.

    4) Report on User survey

    Kurt reported: turnout not very good; SNPS had it at the resturant
    bar, and 30 signed up and just 20 showed up, and all completed a
    survey; At Cadence, it was at a Birds of a Feather, with food &
    beverages, 12 surveys were completed. Most self identified themeslves
    as designer or verification engineer, and he has produced charts and
    graphs which he will send out right now. We will have Dennis make
    this available at FDL, and send it as PDF to John Cooley and Janick
    Bergeron, and to the Mac's Verilog mode list.

    Kurts moves, Steve Sharps seconds that Stu should prepare and Mac send
    out surveys to Janick, Cooley, Mac FAX back to 650-934-6893

    5) The chair then reminded everyone to send in IEEE roster data at
    http://www.verilog.com/IEEEverilog.html, and to verify and renew their
    DASC membership, at http://www.dasc.org

    6) Then the group took up the next item on the agenda, which was to
    review and consider for approval the activities of the Errata and PLI
    Task Forces.

    issue number. As is usual practice, these matters are presented to
    the VSG by one of the chairs of the task force; discussion ensues; and
    only votes of those opposed or abstain are noted.
