    Minutes of BTF Meeting December 15, 2003

    Meeting started at 10:40 Pacific Time

    In attendance:

    Action Items:

            - Stefan to look into document access issues on web site
            - Kurt to send feedback on Cadence datatypes proposal to Kathy

    Meeting Summary:

    The minutes from last week were approved with a verbal amendment
    None opposed or abstained.

    Kathy reported that the Extension Guidelines Group has sent the Process draft, Guidelines draft and Checklist draft in three separate emails. These emails had not been reviewed by BTF members, therefore, discussion regarding these three drafts was tabled until the next meeting. Kathy requested comments regarding the drafts can be made via email.

    There was no IP encryption status (no representative present).

    BTF is looking for volunteers to chair a data type proposal subcommittee. No one volunteered. The recommendation is that the chair be a language expert.

    Action items from the previous meeting were reviewed:

        - Stefen was not on line at the time action items were discuss
          so there was no update regarding document access.

        - Kurt Baty is still working the issue regarding sending feedback to Kathy
          on the Cadence datatypes proposal (his EGG work is taking priority).

    Meeting adjourned.
