    Minutes of 1364-BTF Conference call

    26 Jan 2004

    Meeting called to order at 10:45 AM PST.

    In attendance:

    Review of minutes from Jan 12 meeting:

      Kurt moved to approve. Kathy seconded.

      None opposed.

      Passed.

    Steve reported that a EGG docs e-mail vote was done, and passed.

    And that the EGG docs were passed up to the VSG.

    Steve reviewed Alec Stanculescu's suggestions for subgroups, from Oct
    20, 2003 minutes:

            IP encryption

            Datatypes

            Classes and predefine classes

            Verification/testbench

            Aspect-oriented programming

            Generic interconnect

            Separate compilation/packages

            Randomization

            Transaction recording

            VPI for everything

    Discussion ensued.

    Kathy volunteers to be the temporary

    chair of data types subgroup.

    move to form data types subgroup.

            Kathy moves, seconded by Ennis.

            None opposed.

            No abstains.

            Passed.

    Those interested in participating in Extended Data types subgroup:

            Kurt Baty

            Tom Fitzpatrick (or will find someone else)

            Ronald Goodstein (maybe)

            Ennis Hawk (or will ask Atsushi Kasuya to participate)

            Kathryn McKinley (and will act as temporary chair for first
    meeting)

    Steve reports the request from the VSG that the BTF produce

    a schedule. Discussion ensued.

    Kurt moved to adjourn. Steve seconded.
