    Minutes of BTF meeting February 9. 2004

    Meeting started at 10:45 Pacific Time

    In attendance:

    Minutes from January 28 were accepted: Kathy McKinley moves, Ron Goldstein
    seconds Brad, Medhi abstains. Passes

    Report on datatypes:
    Kathy reports first meeting last Thursday at 11:30 (Eastern time), meeting
    every 2 weeks; want to use the Boyd website. action item is to read the
    donation on data types, and SV datatypes.
    Kathy volunteers to be the permanent chair.

    Question from Kathy: what is the level of details reported to the btf?
    Kurt wants to see all discussions on the btf reflector. Occasional report
    from the sub-group.
    Kurt wants the data types emails sent on the btf with subject "datatypes".

    General btf reflector: Kurt, Stu
    Specific reflectors: Francoise, Kathy, Steve Dovich, Mike Mcnamara
    Don't care: Brad, Medhi
    Specific reflectors will be create with the help of Stephen Boyd

    Report on the IP group:
    No meeting yet, a list of about 7 names.

    Kurt asked about the vote on the EGG proposal. It wil be reported at the
    next VSG meeting.

    Stephen added 2 new classed: datatype and IP to the database and 2 new
    reflectors.
