Hi Steven,
Can you let me know when the next meeting will be? I was unavailable for the last one but am interested in participating. A few
questions:
1. Has there been any thought to using separate keys for the digest/signature and the data? This would be somewhat more secure
without any cost in decryption.
2. The license support in the proposal seems to be easily breakable. Has there been any discussion on how to make it more robust (or
maybe I am missing something)?
3. Also, I have heard rumor that something similar is desired by 1076. Do you have any details and will there be any attempt to keep
them consistent (highly desirable)? I am assuming that SystemVerilog will get it by default since it seems to be a clean extension
to 1364.
Thanks.
David

Subject: Verilog IP Encryption sub-group meeting (Wed, Apr 21)
The group charter is to review the IP Encryption donation (BTF
Issue 358) and make recommendations to the Behavioral Taskforce
regarding disposition of this proposal.
We will meet to evaluate whether the donation is sufficiently clear
and complete that the BTF can act on it. In the alternative, we
will need to determine what work is necessary to augment the
donation. Please review BTF 358 in preparation for the meeting.
We will also settle on an appropriate time for subsequent meetings,
unless this time works for everyone.
