    Dear colleagues,

    Further to my message below: I have spoken with Mac about his actions at the
    NesCom meeting. Mac indicates that his intention was to speak as an
    individual, not as a representative of P1364 or DASC, and that he is
    committed to the process that we have agreed to in the DASC-SC and CAG.

    Nonetheless, I remain concerned that the position of DASC be seen externally
    as unified behind the resolution we have agreed on. To that end, the
    DASC-SC, though the DASC Chair, shall remain the body to make any
    representations on P1800 and P1364.
