    Precedence: bulk

    ETF and PTF members,

As you know, the ETF set up 3 sub-task forces to make proposals on some
of the harder issues (power operator, generates, @*).

Unfortunately, the members of all 3 sub-task forces are the same 4
    people.

Because the issues are not simple, and we all have regular work to do in
addition to our contributions to the ETF,
it is difficult for us to progress rapidly in parallel on all the
    issues.

We still have many issues which do not have proposals
and more are being added all the time.

Many are not simple and even the simple ones often require some effort
in order to formulate a precise fix
    (e.g., new text, examples, etc.)

The PTF has not even begun to work yet.

If we are to meet our deadline of June 30, we must progress on the still
    open issues as well.
Those harder issues are the ones which are also the most important to
    deal with.

Therefore, I want to request that all of us chip in.
I think we should allocate most of the open issues which still do not
have concrete proposals to ETF and PTF members.

The simpler ones can be handled by a single person.
The harder ones may require mutual work of a few people.

If all of us help, we can make good progress, even if in the end, we
    will not solve everything.

    Thanks in advance,
    Shalom
