    Kurt,

I will be at the SNUG conference in Boston, and volunteer to help out.

I just took a close look and the CUG conference agenda, and must question
the value of holding a user-input for Verilog at that conference. I could
not find a single paper on the CUG agenda that involved the Verilog
language. There were a couple of papers on the Cadence NC-Sim product,
such as how to link in PLI, but these papers were presented by Cadence
engineering, and not users. Given the agenda for CUG, I do not think there
will be many Verilog users at the conference.

I do agree that a second (third, if we count DAC) user input session is
needed, but do not have any ideas on a second conference where we can have
a large number of Verilog users in one place prior to the next DVCon in
March 2004. Perhaps instead of a second conference gathering, another way
to collect user input on the next Verilog standard is to send out a
questionnaire to the Accellera mailing list. I am in a position to do
that, as the new chair of the Accellera "Designers Forum".

Also, in addition to requesting Cooley to include an announcement of the
user-input meetings on ESNUG, we should ask Janick to include an
    announcement in his Verification Guild.
