It is common to have to write something like,
" if ((a==3'b001) | (a==3'b101)) ".
It would be extremely convenient to be able to write
" if ( (a==3'b@01) ) ", where "@" represents some symbol
which is a wildcard operator.
"?" would be ideal, but today it represents the "z"
high-impedance value.
