Jason,
I have continued reviewing the draft you sent me. I assume there are only minor
differences between it and what Steven Sharp sent out.
These are the points I have so far, some of which we have already discussed, but it
is also for the benefit of the ETF.
- We have discussed the need for more examples, which I am to add later.
- I have questioned the usefulness of attribute_instances in genvar_expression
- Some of the language needs to be slightly modified according to the rules, e.g.
"shall" instead of "will"
- In 12.4.1, I don't see the need for a separate syntax box for genvar declarations.
- In 12.4.2, in the para. before the Example, in the 2nd line, "statement" is used
twice. I don't think we want that term. I thought to replace the first with
"item" and the 2nd with "construct".
- In 12.4.2, last para., "The same can be said of instance arrays and loop
generates": please explain. Maybe not in the text, but for me.
- In 12.4.3, Example, 2nd top.genblk02.a should be .b.
- In 12.8, para. 2, 1st line, "use" is better worded as "can use".
Shalom
