Review of the minutes of the last ETF meeting (January 10, 2004).
Shalom moves that we accept the minutes. Mark seconds. No opposed. Brad, Francoise abstain. Passes.

    Issues:

    643: Passed on 1/10/05

In response to Jeffrey Coram’s feedback on the draft, Shalom moves that the editor add wording in Section 17.11 and 17.8 to clarify that the built-in system functions in these sections can be used in constant expressions as described in Clause 4. James seconds. No opposed. No abstain. Passes.

In response to the Clause numbering issue (adding Clause 2 to refer to other standards), Shalom moves that we add the current Clause 11 as a section of Clause 10 after the description of tasks, to minimize the necessary renumbering throughout the entire LRM. Also, move Clause 5 before Clause 12. James seconds. No opposed. No abstain. Passes.

We also need to create an introduction describing what has been added in this revision of the LRM. A short list:
    Address Errata
    Rework generate
    Description of elaboration
    Clarification of ambiguties
    Fixing errata
    Enhancements
    Uwire
    Compiler pragmas
    Encryption
Constant expressions can now use certain system functions
    A number of math functions
    Definition of 0 replication
Generation of localparams, tasks and functions
    $feof
    VPI support for generate
    Deprecation of PLI 1.0

    Our next meeting is 2/7/2005.
