    >Description:

In the very first use of "unknown", in 2.5.1 (now 3.5.1), the term is used as a
    synonym for the value x.

It is very frequently used in that sense throughout the LRM, both alone,
"unknown", or with a parenthetical note: "unknown (x)".

However, since it is a common English word which has a somewhat different
meaning, and it is sometimes used in that different sense
in the LRM, it would be good to attach the parenthetical note "(x)" to
"unknown" wherever the word is used with that meaning, or to simply
    replace "unknown" with "x".

    Shalom
