    Hello,

    I have attached a preliminary second revision of the
    "data types on nets" proposal. It incorporates the decisions
    made at the subgroup meeting today; the changes are relatively
    minor changes for clarity and accuracy.

    I also made the following editorial additions:

        - a document revision number
        - a page number and date on each page
        - an introductory paragraph to make clear which sections
          are intended for the LRM and which are not

    Based on the meeting today, our plan is to forward the second
    revision to the SV-BC/EC/CC/AC chairs on Friday at noon EST
    so that they can forward it to their members. If you find any
    errors in my edits before then, please let me know as soon as
    possible so that I can correct them.
