    All,

Just to make sure the schedule is clear, the next drafts of the 1364 and
P1800 LRMs are due to be completed Jan 13. These drafts are the
pre-ballot review drafts. They are to contain all corrections and
additions that have approved for the proposed 2005 standards. The only
changes after these drafts should be to correct any editing problems.
These review drafts will contain strike-through text and change bars to
help with the review of the editing work.

The Jan 13 pre-ballot review drafts will first go to the 1364 and 1800
chairs to be approved for distribution. The chairs have a few days to
make that approval, but hopefully won't need all of that window. The
chairs will then post the drafts on some form of restricted web site, so
that only committee members can access the drafts.

The actual ballot drafts are due early February (the 1364 and 1800
standards are going to ballot at the same time, on parallel schedules).
Those drafts will have all strike-through text and change bars removed,
and corrections to any editing errors that were found.

THERE IS VERY LITTLE TIME BETWEEN THE PRE-BALLOT REVIEW DRAFTS AND THE
FINAL BALLOT DRAFTS! Therefore, it is important that the subcommittees
be organized and ready to quickly review all the editing that will have
been made in the Jan 13 drafts. Any problems with editing that are
found needs to be documented ASAP, to allow time to make those
corrections in the final ballot drafts.

    Stu
